FROM THE BARTENDER, Alyssa Ocampo
Alyssa Ocampo
Alyssa Ocampo is the manager and bar manager at Sparrow + Wolf. She grew up in Claremont, California and moved to San Francisco at 17-years-old, where she began her degree in kinesiology. Her plans quickly changed after accepting an internship with the Disney College Program, where she realized that she wanted to work with people. She later changed her major to hospitality with an emphasis on tourism.
After working at bar in San Francisco, an experience Alyssa describes as one of the most memorable of her career, she made her way back to Los Angeles where she bartended and worked as the bar administrator for three locations. In January of 2018, she moved to Las Vegas—the mecca of the hospitality industry. She found Sparrow + Wolf a few months after arriving and has been here ever since.
She says that Sparrow + Wolf has given her an abundance of tools to be successful and is beyond grateful to be there to grow and help them evolve.
