Local Dining Institutions

Leslie, Genevie and Brock discuss favorite Vegas restaurant institutions and talk with Todd Clore of Todd's Unique Dining.

On the April episode of Las Vegas Weekly’s Second Helping food podcast, we’re celebrating the rapid ramp-up of local dining—it’s time to go out to eat again!—by showcasing some of our all-time favorite Vegas restaurant institutions, delicious destinations that create the foundation for our dynamic local culinary scene. We’re focused on Thai and vegetarian dishes at Komol, pasta and artsy ambience at the Pasta Shop, and fried catfish and family-style meals at the Hush Puppy, and we’ve got a few other restaurants to shout out, too. We’re also talking to Todd’s Unique Dining chef and owner Todd Clore about building a landmark in Henderson and keeping it strong through a pandemic year, and as always, we can’t wait to share the best things we ate last month from our tasty trips to Estiatorio Milos, Cornish Pasty, Ada’s Wine Bar and Border Grill.

Second Helping has been produced by Genevie Durano, Brock Radke and Leslie Ventura for Las Vegas Weekly magazine.
