Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds isn’t the only Vegas-raised rocker fighting for equal rights and allying with the LGBTQ community. On June 28, Brendon Urie, principal and sole founding member of Panic! at the Disco, announced the formation of his Highest Hopes foundation, established to “support the efforts of nonprofit organizations that lead, develop and advocate support for human rights,” particularly with regard to gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, race and religion. Urie then came out as pansexual in a July 8 interview with Paper magazine. “I’m married to a woman, and I’m very much in love with her, but I’m not opposed to a man, because to me, I like a person,” he said. “Yeah, I guess you could qualify me as pansexual, because I really don’t care. If a person is great, then a person is great.”
